Their women's side, Club Tijuana Femenil, were established in late 2016 as one of the eighteen founding members of the Liga MX Femenil, and the players are warmly known to the Frontera faithful as Las Xolas.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis striking away shirt was worn during the 2024\/2025 Liga MX Femenil season - a campaign split, as is the Mexican tradition, across the Apertura and Clausura tournaments. Head coach Juan Romo was at the helm for both halves of the calendar, building a side that played simple, connected football out of Estadio Caliente. Las Xolas roared through the Apertura 2024 with attacking flair, ultimately finishing 9th just outside the \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eLiguilla (play-offs).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Apertura heartbreak came on the very last matchday - Tijuana needing only a draw to reach the Liguilla but falling just short, with Toluca pinching the eighth and final play-off spot. The Clausura 2025 brought more of the same - moments of real promise punctured by setbacks, including a tight 1-0 loss away at Querétaro.
