Known as Die Kraichgauer, they play their home matches at the PreZero Arena in Sinsheim. Hoffenheim are one of football's most remarkable modern stories: the village itself is home to only around 3,300 people, making them one of the smallest communities ever to host a top-flight club, a rise bankrolled by SAP co-founder and boyhood fan Dietmar Hopp.

The 2024/2025 campaign, during which this understated home shirt was worn, was Hoffenheim's 126th season and their 17th in a row in the Bundesliga. It proved a difficult one. Pellegrino Matarazzo was dismissed in November and replaced by Austrian coach Christian Ilzer, but the change could not spark a revival. Hoffenheim finished 15th with 32 points, winning just seven of their 34 matches and shipping 68 goals, and were dragged into a relegation scrap they only escaped late on.

There was little cheer in the cups either. Hoffenheim exited the DFB-Pokal early, and their return to European football ended in disappointment as they finished near the bottom of the UEFA Europa League league phase and failed to reach the knockout rounds. It was a season of firefighting rather than fond memories.

Croatian forward Andrej Kramarić, the club's all-time leading scorer and long-time talisman, finished joint top scorer with 11 goals across the campaign. Czech striker Adam Hložek, signed from Bayer Leverkusen, matched him with 11 of his own in all competitions, but too often the goals at one end were cancelled out by leaks at the other.

Follow the club on X: @tsghoffenheim

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0509/5564/9221/files/Hoffenheim_202024_2F2025_20Home_20Shirt_f5269e38-c047-45dd-8bf0-017755abee68.jpg?v=1789741696
