The crest features a stylised eagle in the shape of a letter V, set against the club colours of charcoal black, silver and warm red.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 2025 campaign, during which this striking home shirt was worn, was Vancouver's third season in the CPL and comfortably their most eventful. Inaugural head coach Afshin Ghotbi was relieved of his duties on 23 July 2025 with the Eagles rooted to the bottom of the table on just 8 points from 15 games, and club academy man Martin Nash stepped in as interim boss. Nash steadied things to the tune of 13 points from the final 13 matches, but it was not enough to climb off the foot of the table. Vancouver finished 8th and last of the eight CPL sides, with 4 wins, 9 draws and 15 defeats, 21 points and a goal difference of minus 22.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhat the season is best remembered for, though, is a cup run nobody saw coming. While their league form floundered, Vancouver went all the way to the final of the 2025 Canadian Championship, where they met crosstown rivals Vancouver Whitecaps and were beaten 4-2. Reaching that final was reward in itself, but it also delivered something extraordinary for a team that had finished bottom of its league: a place in the 2026 CONCACAF Champions Cup.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn front of goal the Eagles were led by co-top scorers Pathe Ndiaye and Hugo Mbongue, who each netted 6 times across the campaign, with Uruguayan playmaker Nicolas Mezquida chipping in from midfield.
