Head coach Jakob Poulsen departed for AGF before a ball was kicked, promptly leading them to a first title in 40 years, while assistant Nickolai Lund was promoted to the top job in July. For the second consecutive season, their run ended in the semi-finals at the hands of Copenhagen - this time 4-2 on aggregate.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eNouck Horneman finished as the club's top league scorer with six goals, while captain Jeppe Grønning wrote himself into the record books by converting the very first goal of the entire Superliga season, a penalty against defending champions Copenhagen on opening night.
