TOP 3 QUIRKY FOOTBALL STADIUMS

We spend quite a lot of time researching the teams whose shirts we send out. This does take time but given our obsession with football it's honestly a real labour of love!

If you purchase a Surprise Shirt from us, you'll see that we explain a little about the club whose shirt you've received, as well as further detail about how the team fared in the season that they wore the shirt.

From time to time we provide more details about the stadiums and we thought we'd share a couple with you in this blog.

Bursaspor from Turkey are nicknamed The Green Crocodiles and this influenced the design of their iconic new stadium, The Timsah Arena which has a crocodile head as part of it's outer stadium shell. A trip to Bursa in the Marmara region of Western Turkey to watch a Turkish Super Lig match is definitely on our bucket list!

The next stadium that fascinates us is FK Vozdovac's ground. The Dragons are a Serbian team who play in the capital Belgrade. What's different about their stadium you might think? Well why not play your games in the FK Vozdovac Stadion which has been built on the top of a shopping centre - how crazy is that?!

Our third and final stadium in this blog is one that will always have a special place in the hearts of the Surprise Shirts team as Huracan was the first team where we agreed a bulk shirt deal. We'll never forget the day when two huge boxes of their shirts arrived from Buenos Aires - a big moment for us!

Huracan play in the Argentina Primera League and play their matches at the Eastadio Tomas Adolfo Duco. How cool is the stadium tower?
