CFR CLUJ – THIRD SHIRT 2022/2023

Fotbal Club CFR 1907 Cluj, commonly known as CFR Cluj, is a Romanian Professional football club based in the city of Cluj-Napoca. 

Feroviarii (The Railwaymen) compete in Liga 1, the highest division of football in Romania. The side play their home matches at the 23,500 capacity Stadionul Constantin Radulescu. 

CFR have 16 domestic trophies to their name, all of which came in the 21st century. The side’s main rivals, Universitatea Cluj, compete in the Liga II, giving CFR fans the bragging rights in their home city.

This third shirt was worn in the 2022/2023 season.

In Europe the club were knocked out of the Champions League in the First Qualifying Round by Pyunik of Armenia and so dropped down into the Europa League where they qualified from Group G alongside Sivasspor of Turkey. However they lost in the Round of 32 knockout to Lazio of Italty (1-0).

Domestically Cluj finished 2nd behind champions Farul Constanta.
