FC INGOLSTADT – HOME SHIRT 2020/2021

FC Ingolstadt is a German football club based in Ingolstadt, Bavaria close to Munich. The club was formed in 2004 following the merger of two much older clubs ESV Ingolstadt - Ringsee 1919 and MTV Ingolstadt 1881.

The team plays at the Audi Sportspark in Ingolstadt with capacity of 15800 and is known as Die Schanzer (The Trenchmen). The club are currently playing in Bundesliga 2, the second tier of German football with the team advancing to this level from the local Oberliga Bayern (Bavaria) in 2004.

The club's highest achievement was promotion to the Bundesliga in 2015/16 season where they remained for two years until relegation back to Bundesliga 2 

The official club song is called “Schanzer Herz” ,performed by Ingolstadt-based hard rock band Bonfire.
