Football Club Samartex 1996 is a Ghanaian professional football club based in the town of Tarkwa, in the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Region. The club, founded in 1996, play their home matches at Samartex Park, which has a capacity of 7,000. Currently, Samartex compete in the Ghana Premier League, the top division of football in the country. The club were founded & named after local lumber firm ‘Samartex Timber & Plywood’.
This stunning away shirt, made by Philadelphia based manufacturer Icarus, is currently being worn by ‘The Timber Giants’ in the 2022/2023 Ghana Premier League campaign.
