Football Club Twente is a Dutch team from the city of
Enschede in Eastern Holland.
The Pride of the East play at De Grolsch Veste which holds
30,205 fans. Twente were the Dutch champions in 2009/10.
This away shirt was worn as Twente looked to consolidate
their place in the Eredivisie after being promoted from the
Eerste Divisie the season before. 2019/20 was called off
early because of the COVID-19 pandemic, with Twente finishing
in 14th place with 7 wins.
The KNVB Cup was not completed due to the virus, by which time
Twente had already been knocked out in the 2nd round by Go Ahead
Eagles.
