Football Club Groningen is a Dutch professional football club based in the northern city of Groningen.

The Green and White Army play their home matches in the Hitachi Capital Mobility Stadion, also known as the Euroborg. The stadium, built in 2006, can hold up to 22,525 people at maximum capacity. Groningen maintain a rivalry with fellow Eredivisie outfit Heerenveen, with their matches being dubbed ‘the Derby of the North’.
Groningen wore this impressive away shirt in the 2019/20 Eredivisie season as they finished in a respectable 9th place, out of 18 teams. The side were lead by former player Danny Buijs, during the campaign in which they were knocked out of the KNBV Cup in the second round. Dutch striker Kaj Sierhuis won Groningen‘s golden boot award for the season, scoring 6 goals in 16 Eredivisie matches.
