HURACAN - HOME 2019/20
Club Athletico Huracan are an Argentinian club based in the
Parque Patricios area of Buenos Aires, the capital city of
Argentina. The club play in the Primera Division, the highest
tier of football in Argentina.
Huracan, who are nicknamed both ‘Globo’ (balloon) and
‘Quemeros’ (burners), play their home games at the Estadio
Tomas Adolfo Duco. It holds 48,314 people at maximum capacity.
In the 19/20 season, Huracan finished 21st out of 24, narrowly
avoiding relegation to the Primera Nacional. The team only scored
17 goals in the league campaign. They did reach the Round of 32 of
the Copa Argentina, but were eliminated on penalties by Godoy Cruz.
Since they were founded in 1908, Huracan have won 13 domestic titles.
