KV MECHELEN - FOURTH SHIRT 2021/2022

The Yellow Reds are a Belgian team based in Mechelen, in the Antwerp region. KVM were previously known by their French name, FC Malinois. Founded in 1904, they have won the Belgian League on four occasions, the Belgian Cup twice and were the winners of the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1987/88. They play their home matches at the AFAS-stadion Achter de Kazerne.

Mechelen wore this fourth shirt when finishing 7th in the regular season, which qualified the club for the Europa League play-off round. Unfortunately, they only won one of their six matches in the play-off round and the play-off place was taken by Gent. Nikola Storm (Belgian) was the club’s top scorer with 16 goals in all competitions.
