LEONES NEGROS – HOME SHIRT 2018/2019
Leones Negros, The Black Lions, play in the city of
Guadalajara in Mexico.
The side play at the Estadio Jalisco which is the third
biggest ground in Mexico, holding over 55,000 fans.
Leones Negros won the CONCACAF Champions Cup in
1978.
Since that time they have struggled and have found it difficult to compete with the bigger teams in the city, namely Chivas. The team now play in Mexico’s second tier, Liga de Expansion MX.
The side wore this striking home shirt when finishing in mid-table in both the Apertura and Clausara sections of the Mexican season.
