MEXICO – AWAY SHIRT WORLD CUP 2022
Mexico (El Tri – The Tricolor) are a member of the CONCACAF confederation and have qualified for 17 World Cup tournaments, including qualifying for the last six tournaments since 1994 (one of only six countries to do so).
Furthermore Mexico, alongside Brazil, are the only two nations to make it out of the Group Stages over the last seven World Cup competitions. Their best performance is reaching the Quarter-Finals in 1970 and 1986 (both tournaments being held in Mexico).
This amazing away shirt was released for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar,
where Mexico competed in Group C alongside Argentina, Saudi Arabia and Poland. Unfortunately, they failed to get out of the group. Although deemed to be one of the best shirts produced for the World Cup, Mexico never wore it during the tournament!
