MONTEVIDEO CITY TORQUE – AWAY SHIRT 2021

Montevideo City Toque is a Uruguayian professional club
based in the capital city, Montevideo.

The club compete in the Primera Division, the top tier of
football in Uruguay after promotion in 2017.

Torque were acquired by the City Football Group (CFG) in 2017 and so have links to Manchester City, New York City and Melbourne City amongst others.

They play home matches at the Estadio Centenario which was built to host the first ever World Cup in 1930.

The club wore this away shirt in the 2021 season when finishing 6th in the Apertura (opening section) and then a slight improvement to 5th in the Clausura (closing section).

On aggregate this gave the club an aggregate points total of 50 points meaning they finished 4th overall, qualifying the club for the first stage of the Copa Libertadores.
