FA Selangor is a Malaysian professional football club based in the city of Shah Alam and competes in the Malaysian Super League, the top flight of Malaysian football. Nicknamed Red Giants, the club was founded in 1936 and play their home games in the 85,000 capacity Shah Alam Stadium. Selangor is the most successful club in Malaysian football with a record of 33 Malaysia Cups, 5 FA Cups and 7 top flight league titles. The team is also the first Malaysian club to achieve Asian top-flight success by becoming runner-up of the first ever Asian Club Championship in 1967, which was later rebranded to AFC Champions League in 2002.

This home shirt was worn in the 2020 season by Selangor where they finished 5th out of 12 teams in the Malaysian Premier League. With a total of 17 points from their 11 matches, the Red Giants missed out on qualification for the AFC Cup by two points. The side was captained by Australian centre-half Taylor Regan.
