UNITED CITY FC – AWAY SHIRT 2021
United City Football Club, previously named Ceres-Negros,
is a Filipino professional club based in Capas in the Tarlac
region of The Philippines.
The Golden Boys compete in the top tier of football
in the country, the Philippines Football League (PFL).
They play their home matches at the New Clark City Athletics
Stadium which holds 20,000 fans.
They are currently managed by Englishman Jason Withe, son of ex Villa striker, Peter Withe.
The Golden Boys wore this striking away shirt in the 2021 season, their 4th in the Philippines top flight. The domestic league was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic but due to success in the previous season, United City competed in the AFC Champions League. Unfortunately, however, the team were unable to qualify from their group with Kawasaki Frontale (Japan) and Daegu FC (South Korea) finishing ahead of them. However, they did defeat Beijing Guoan in China 3-2 to finish 3rd in the group.
