Club de Regatas Vasco da Gama is a Brazilian professional football club based in the city of Rio de Janeiro, in the Vasco da Gama neighbourhood. The club were founded by and are strongly supported by Portuguese immigrants in the Rio de Janeiro community. Vascão (Big Vasco) currently compete in Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, the second tier of football in Brazil. The club’s home stadium is São Januário, with a capacity of 21,880.
This shirt was worn in the 2020 Série A campaign, which was a disappointing season for Vasco; ultimately the club were relegated in 17th place, due to a lower goal difference than Fortaleza.
