CHAPECOENSE - HOME SHIRT 2024

Chapecoense are a Brazilian football club based in Chapecó, Santa Catarina - they play their home matches at Arena Condá. 

During the 2024 season, in which this traditional home kit was worn, Chapecoense competed Campeonato Brasileiro Série B (in Brazil’s second division), and in their state competition, Campeonato Catarinense. It was a tough campaign - in Série B they finished 16th.

Offensively the club struggled: their top scorers were Bruno Leonardo, Marcinho, and Mário Sérgio - each scored only 3 goals in all competitions.

No account of Chapecoense’s story is complete without acknowledging the club’s greatest tragedy. In November 2016, while travelling to Colombia for the Copa Sudamericana final, the team’s plane crashed near Medellín, killing 71 people, including players, staff, journalists, and crew members. Only six survived. The disaster sent shockwaves through the football world and united fans, clubs, and nations in grief and solidarity. Chapecoense were awarded the Copa Sudamericana title, and tributes poured in from across the globe.
