CZECH REPUBLIC - AWAY SHIRT 2018
The Czech Republic's national team are one of European football's most storied sides, representing a footballing nation with deep roots stretching back through the Czechoslovak era. Known to fans as Reprezentace ("The Representatives"), they have consistently punched above their weight on the continental stage, with a runners-up finish at Euro 1996 and a memorable semi-final run at Euro 2004 - built on a celebrated golden generation of technical, attack-minded footballers.
This legacy has been shaped by legendary figures such as Josef Masopust, Antonín Panenka, Pavel Nedvěd, Petr Čech, and Tomáš Rosický, whose brilliance has defined Czech and Czechoslovak football across generations.
The Czech Republic wore this smart away shirt throughout 2018, a year of transition for Reprezentace. The side had narrowly missed out on the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia after finishing third in qualifying behind Germany and Northern Ireland, and the autumn brought a difficult start to the inaugural UEFA Nations League - back-to-back defeats to Ukraine (1-2) and Slovakia (1-2) prompting the dismissal of manager Karel Jarolím and the eventual appointment of Jaroslav Šilhavý, who would go on to lead the side to the quarter-finals of Euro 2020.
As of 2026, the Czech Republic are heading to the FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico for the first time as Czechia, having sealed qualification via a dramatic March play-off path - 4-3 on penalties past Ireland after a 2-2 draw in the semi-final, then 3-1 on penalties past Denmark after another 2-2 draw in the final. Drawn into Group A alongside hosts Mexico, South Korea and South Africa, Reprezentace are heading to their first FIFA World Cup since 2006. With 74-year-old Miroslav Koubek in charge and a squad built around captain Ladislav Krejčí, West Ham midfielder Tomáš Souček and striker Patrik Schick, Czechia travel to North America hungry to make up for two decades of near-misses.
