Club Atlético Defensores Unidos are an Argentinian football club based in the city of Zárate, Buenos Aires Province. Founded in 1914, the club are widely known as CADU and are recognised for their deep roots in the local community and their steady rise through the Argentine football pyramid.

Their home matches are played at the Estadio Gigante de Villa Fox, a traditional ground that provides a strong home advantage and reflects the club’s close bond with its supporters.

The club’s primary rivalry is with Villa Dálmine, with whom they contest the Clásico del Norte Bonaerense, a derby defined by proximity, history, and passionate support.

This home shirt was worn during the 2025 season, as Defensores Unidos struggled. Unidos were relegated after finishing on 21 points (12 shy of safety) thus ending their 3 year stay in Primera Nacional. Unidos will now be competing in Primera B Metropolitana for the 2026 season.
