DUNDEE FC - HOME SHIRT 2025/2026

Dundee FC are a professional football club from the city of Dundee on Scotland's east coast, founded in 1893. The Dark Blues - or simply The Dee - have called Dens Park home since 1899, a ground that sits two hundred metres from city rivals Dundee United at Tannadice, the closest pair of senior football grounds in Britain. Dundee were Scottish champions of 1962, a Bob Shankly side that reached the European Cup semi-finals the following year.

The 2025/2026 campaign, in which this smart navy blue home shirt was worn, was a season of transition at Dens Park. Former Hearts captain Steven Pressley was appointed in June, replacing the sacked Tony Docherty, with one goal: keep Dundee in the Scottish Premiership following a close call in 2024/2025. Pressley's side did just that, finishing 9th and well clear of relegation.

What this season is best remembered for, though, was the Scottish Cup. A comeback win at Kilmarnock's Rugby Park sent Dundee into the fifth round, where they were a kick away from a famous result at Celtic Park - only for the champions to equalise with the last touch of regular time and win it in extra time.

The Dundee derby produced four meetings of wildly different moods. Dundee lost the August opener 2-0 at Dens Park, before Ashley Hay's New Year's Day strike won it 1-0 at Tannadice.

A March return at Dens swung from 2-0 down to a thrilling 2-2 draw, before United settled the season's bragging rights with a 3-0 win in April.

Veteran Striker Simon Murray finished as Dundee's top scorer with seven league goals.
