ERMIS ARADIPPOU FC - AWAY SHIRT 2025/2026
Ermis Aradippou FC is a professional football club based in Aradippou, a settlement on the outskirts of Larnaca, Cyprus. Founded in 1958, the club takes its name from the Greek god Hermes and maintains a long-standing rivalry with neighbouring club Omonia Aradippou.
The club’s greatest success came in 2014, when they won the Cypriot Super Cup. That same year, they came close to reaching the Europa League group stage, only to be eliminated by Young Boys in the third qualifying round. Today, Ermis is often regarded as the “sleeping giant” of Cypriot football, currently competing in the Third Division.
For much of their history, until the 2010s, the club fluctuated between the top three divisions, but after an extended period in the First Division, Ermis were relegated in 2018 and have not returned since. Now, under a young and ambitious management team, the club is determined to reclaim its place at the top and begin a new golden era.
This eye-catching away shirt celebrates that ambition while paying tribute to the club’s heritage. Featuring intricate local patterns, it places full focus on Hermes, including a small winged foot icon, which serves as a nod to the god and is also a reference to the club’s historic 2014/2015 Europa League campaign (UEL 1415). The map of Cyprus on the back proudly represents the club’s island roots, making this kit a perfect blend of tradition, mythology, and ambition.
The 2025/2026 season for Ermis has come to an end and what a season it was! Following the promotion round, Ermis finished 3rd out of 16 competitors, which is enough to grant promotion back to the Cypriot 2nd tier. Also, Ermis won the Cypriot Cup (that's open to 3rd and 4th division teams) after a dramatic final that saw own goals, red cards, and extra time winners! The final score was 2-1 to Ermis, which capped of a memorable season for the sleeping giants of Cypriot football.
