HUNGARY – EURO SHIRT 2020

The Hungarian national team are currently ranked 41st in the World FIFA rankings, with a highest ranking of 16th in 2016.

Hungary have reached nine World Cups and were runners-up in 1938 and 1954. They were one of the best teams in the world in the 1950’s, laying the foundations for the ‘total football’ concept we understand today. Football icon Ferenc Puskas was the star player in that team and has the world goal of the year competition named after him.

Hungary wore this home shirt at the EURO 2020 Championships where they were drawn in a group of death alongside giants France, Portugal, and Germany.

After a first round defeat against Portugal, Hungary gained credible draws against France and Germany but sadly were eliminated with just 2 points from their three matches.
