JUVENTUS – HOME SHIRT 2020/2021
Juventus FC, commonly known as Juventus or Juve, are based in Turin and compete in Serie A. Founded in 1897, the club are nicknamed La Vecchia Signora (“The Old Lady”) and are the most successful side in Italian football history.
Juventus play their home matches at the Allianz Stadium, which has a capacity of just over 41,000. Their iconic black and white colours have become synonymous with domestic dominance, with the club holding a record number of Serie A titles.
This home shirt was worn during the 2020/2021 season, a transitional campaign for the Bianconeri under the management of Andrea Pirlo in his first role as a head coach. Juventus finished 4th in Serie A, securing UEFA Champions League qualification on the final day.
Despite falling short of the league title, the season did bring silverware. Juventus lifted both the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana, adding to their extensive honours list.
Key players during the campaign included Cristiano Ronaldo, who finished as the club’s top scorer and won the Serie A Golden Boot, alongside Leonardo Bonucci, and Federico Chiesa, who enjoyed a standout debut season with the club.
The 2020/2021 campaign marked Juventus’ 123rd season in existence and their 14th consecutive season in the top flight of Italian football, as they began the transition from their era of domestic dominance into a new cycle.
