LECA F.C. – AWAY SHIRT 2022/2023

Leça Futebol Clube is a Portuguese club based in the coastal town of Leça da Palmeira who were founded in 1912.

The club has competed in Portugal’s top division on several occasions, most notably during the mid-1990s. Financial difficulties in the years that followed saw Leça drop down the pyramid, and in the 2022/2023 season they were competing in the Campeonato de Portugal, the fourth tier of Portuguese football.

Leça wore this away shirt, which celebrates their 110 years as a club, during the 2022/2023 campaign as they faced a mix of historic clubs and ambitious sides across the division. In that year Leça finished the campaign 9th in Group B, a position that resulted in relegation to the regional leagues for the following season.

Despite their current status, the club can boast having played a part in the early careers of Sérgio Conceição and Ricardo Carvalho, both of whom represented Leça F.C. on loan.
