LUTON TOWN - THIRD SHIRT 2025/2026

Luton Town are a historic English club founded in 1885 in Bedfordshire and known to supporters as the Hatters, after the town's long-standing hat-making industry. They play their home matches at Kenilworth Road, a tight 11,500-capacity ground in Bury Park where away fans famously enter through a row of terraced houses on Oak Road. A fairytale rise through three divisions in five seasons carried Luton to the Premier League in 2023 - a journey that captured the imagination of football well beyond Bedfordshire.

The 2025/2026 campaign - during which this striking third shirt was worn - was Luton's first back in League One since 2018/2019, following successive relegations from the Premier League and the Championship. Matt Bloomfield was relieved of his duties on 6 October after 33 games and a 36.36% win rate, with former Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere appointed to his first senior managerial role a week later and guiding the club to a respectable seventh-place finish.

The play-off dream was dashed in the cruellest fashion - a late Stevenage goal against Wigan Athletic ended a remarkable 12-game unbeaten run at the wrong moment. There was silverware to celebrate, however: on 12 April 2026 the Hatters beat Stockport County 3-1 at Wembley to lift the EFL Trophy - their first triumph in the competition since 2009, and the first managerial title of Wilshere's career.
