LYON – HOME SHIRT 2024/2025

Olympique Lyonnais are one of France’s most historic sides, competing in Ligue 1 and representing the city of Lyon. After a turbulent few seasons, the 2024/2025 campaign signalled a strong resurgence for Les Gones as they aimed to reassert themselves domestically and in Europe.

Lyon wore this classy home shirt throughout a memorable season in which they finished 6th in Ligue 1, securing Europa League qualification and marking their highest league points tally in several years. Their consistency at home, particularly at the Groupama Stadium, proved crucial in the run-in.

Club captain Alexandre Lacazette finished as the club’s top scorer, netting 18 league goals. Meanwhile, the creative spark of Rayan Cherki lit up the campaign, contributing key goals and assists across all competitions.

In Europe, Lyon enjoyed an impressive run in the UEFA Europa League, reaching the semi-finals before being dramatically eliminated by a memorable comeback at the hands of Manchester United, completed by Harry Magure in the dying seconds of extra time.

Following his breakout season, Cherki earned a high-profile summer move to Manchester City, bringing an end to his time in Lyon after emerging as one of Ligue 1’s brightest talents.
