Manica Diamonds, known affectionately as The Gem Boys, are a professional Zimbabwean football club based in Mutare in the eastern Manicaland Province. The club were founded in late 2017 by the Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamonds Company as a community initiative, and rose quickly through the divisions - winning the Eastern Division zone in 2018 with an unbeaten 26-4-0 record before earning promotion to the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League the following year.

The 2025 campaign, in which this sharp away polo was worn, was one of stability rather than statement for Manica Diamonds. The Gem Boys finished 10th in the Premier Soccer League with 41 points (8W-17D-9L), comfortably mid-table in a season dominated by newly promoted Scottland, who upended the established hierarchy by signing Simba Bhora's title-winning core en route to lifting the title in their debut top-flight season.

It was a season of draws with seventeen in 34 matches, mostly due to goalscoring being a serious issue, with Manica Diamonds managing just 21 goals across the campaign. Defensively they were sound (24 conceded, in line with the upper half of the table), but the lack of a consistent attacking threat ultimately kept them well short of the top six.
