NURNBERG – HOME SHIRT 2009/2010

1. FC Nürnberg, is a German football club based in Nuremberg, Bavaria. Founded in 1900, the club initially competed in the Southern German championship, winning their first title in 1916. Their first German championship was won in 1920. Before the inauguration of the Bundesliga in 1963, 1. FCN won a further 11 regional championships, including the Oberliga Süd formed in 1945, and were German champions another seven times. The club has won the Bundesliga once and the DFB-Pokal four times. 

Max-Morlock-Stadion is where they play their home games and it can host 50,000. They currently compete in the 2. Bundesliga and are coached by German legend Miroslav Klose!

This classic collared home shirt was worn in the 2009/2010 season by Nurnberg when competing in the Bundesliga. They finished in 16th place which meant they had to play in a promotion play-off against 3rd in 2. Bundesliga. They beat FC Augsburg 3-0 on aggregate, assuring their place in the Bundesliga for the following season.
