POLATLI 1926 SK – AWAY SHIRT 2019/2020

Polatlı 1926 SK are a football club based in the Polatlı district of Ankara, Turkey. Founded in 1986 as Polatlı Esentepespor, the club took on the name 1926 Polatlı Belediyespor ahead of the 2016/2017 season — a nod to 1926, the year the district of Polatlı was formally established. The club currently competes in the TFF Third League, Turkey's fourth tier.

The 2019/2020 away shirt was manufactured by Lotto and worn during the club's participation in the Regional Amateur League, at a time when they were building momentum towards the professional pyramid. It is one of the few documented kits from this period of the club's history. In the league, they finsihed 7th - never close to relegation nor promotion.

Polatlı 1926 SK are a modest community club with a small but dedicated local following, representing a district perhaps better known across Turkey and beyond for the Battle of Sakarya in 1921 - the decisive engagement of the Turkish War of Independence, fought in the hills surrounding Polatlı.
