PSV EINDHOVEN – HOME SHIRT 2022/2023
Philips Sport Vereniging, commonly known as PSV Eindhoven, compete in the Eredivisie, the top tier of football in the Netherlands.
The Dutch side plays its home matches at the 35,119-capacity Philips Stadion, a ground that has been central to the club’s domestic and European success over the years.
This traditional red and white home shirt was worn during the 2022/2023 season, as PSV looked to challenge for the Eredivisie title and compete strongly in both domestic and European competitions.
Under the management of Ruud van Nistelrooy in his first season as head coach, PSV enjoyed a competitive campaign. They finished 2nd in the Eredivisie, securing Champions League qualification, while also lifting the KNVB Cup after defeating Ajax in the final.
Captain Luuk de Jong once again led the line and was a key figure in attack, contributing important goals throughout the season. He was supported by players such as Xavi Simons, who enjoyed a breakout campaign, finishing as one of the league’s top scorers and earning widespread recognition for his performances.
PSV also added silverware in the Johan Cruyff Shield earlier in the season, defeating Ajax, making it a successful year overall with multiple trophies secured.
