REAL MADRID – HOME SHIRT 2022/2023

Los Blancos (The Whites) are based in the Spanish capital of Madrid and are one of the most successful and recognisable football clubs in world history. With a record number of European titles, Real Madrid remain a global powerhouse in every competition they enter.

This home shirt was worn during the 2022/23 season and featured a clean white design with subtle lilac accents, celebrating the club’s 120-year heritage.

In La Liga, Real Madrid finished 2nd, ending the season behind rivals Barcelona but comfortably securing a Champions League place for the following campaign.

In domestic cup competitions, Madrid enjoyed significant success. They won the Copa del Rey, defeating Osasuna in the final to lift the trophy for the first time since 2014. They also claimed the UEFA Super Cup at the start of the season, adding another European honour to their collection.

In the UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid reached the semi-finals, eliminating Liverpool and Chelsea along the way before being knocked out by Manchester City, the eventual champions.

French striker Karim Benzema was Real Madrid’s top scorer for the 2022/2023 season, netting 31 goals across all competitions in what would be his final campaign at the club before departing in the summer.

The season also saw the rise of younger players like Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo, who delivered standout performances throughout the campaign, particularly on European nights.
