RB Leipzig are a German top-flight club who play their home matches at the Red Bull Arena, located in the eastern city of Leipzig.

The club was formed after the Red Bull Group acquired the sporting rights of fifth-tier side SSV Markranstädt, with the stated ambition of reaching the Bundesliga. Leipzig’s rapid rise through the German football pyramid has been highly controversial, particularly within a football culture that traditionally values supporter ownership and influence.

Die Roten Bullen wore this away shirt during the 2024/2025 season as they competed in the Bundesliga, domestic cup competitions and European football. Leipzig finished 7th in the Bundesliga, missing out on European qualification for the following season, in what was the club’s lowest league position since their promotion to the top flight.
