ROMA – HOME SHIRT 2015/2016

Associazione Sportiva Roma play their home matches at the iconic Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Italy.

Roma are one of Italy’s most historic clubs, having spent virtually their entire existence in the top flight. The club have won three Serie A titles and lifted the Coppa Italia on nine occasions, establishing themselves as a permanent force in Italian football.

I Giallorossi (The Yellow and Reds) wore this classic home shirt during the 2015/2016 season, a campaign that saw the club finish 3rd in Serie A and secure qualification for the UEFA Champions League. Rudi Garcia began the season as manager before Luciano Spalletti returned midway through the campaign.

Club icon Francesco Totti remained a key figure despite limited minutes, starting just 2 games and playing just 386 minutes, yet scoring 5 goals and grabbing 3 assists. Miralem Pjanic, Daniele De Rossi, and Mohamed Salah had standout seasons as well for Roma.

In Europe, Roma competed in the UEFA Champions League, and narrowly reached the Round of 16 with better goal difference than Bayer Leverkusen. In the Round of 16 they were drawn against Spanish Giants Real Madrid and were beaten 4-0 on aggregate.
