FC UTRECHT – HOME SHIRT 2016/2017

FC Utrecht is a professional football club based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The club was founded in 1970 following the merger of several local teams. They play their home matches at the Stadion Galgenwaard, which has a capacity of 23,750, and are affectionately known as “Domstedelingen” (The Cathedral Citizens).

Utrecht compete in the Eredivisie, the top tier of Dutch football. They are one of only four clubs never to have never been relegated from the division - alongside Ajax, PSV, and Feyenoord - a record that cements their status as one of the country’s biggest and most established teams.

The club wore this red home shirt during the 2016/2017 season, under the management of Erik ten Hag. FC Utrecht finished the season in 4th place in the Eredivisie. Sebastien Haller led the line for the club, earning him a big money move to Eintracht Frankfurt.
