FC UTRECHT – AWAY SHIRT 2023/2024

FC Utrecht is a professional club based in Utrecht, Netherlands. The club were formed in 1970, following the merger of several local clubs and are based in the historic city of Utrecht. The club has been a consistent presence in the Eredivisie, known for its passionate fanbase and competitive spirit. They play at the 23,750 capacity Stadion Galgenwaard in Utrecht and are nicknamed Domstedelingen (The Cathedral Citizens).

This distinctive away shirt was worn during the 2023/2024 season, a campaign in which Utrecht aimed to push into the European qualification places. Despite a mixed start, the team improved as the season progressed under manager Ron Jans, ultimately finishing in 7th place and securing a spot in the end-of-season European play-offs.

In the domestic cup, Utrecht competed in the KNVB Cup, reaching the quarter-finals before being eliminated by Feyenoord in a 2–1 defeat.

Former Rangers forward Sam Lammers was instrumental in attack, finishing as the club’s top scorer with 16 goals in all competitions.
