Varzim Sport Club is a Portuguese club based in the coastal city of Póvoa de Varzim
which is situated near Porto in the north of the county.

The club’s ground – the Estadio do Varzim Sport Club is located right by the sea, hence the club’s nickname ‘Lobos do Mar’ – the Sea Wolves.

Varzim are known in Portugal for developing young players, with Bruno Alves and Hélder Postiga being famous ex youth team players.

The club wore this white away shirt when finishing 5th in 3. Liga in Portugal, just outside of the promotion playoff places.
