1. FC MAGDEBURG – THIRD SHIRT 2025/2026

1. FC Magdeburg is a professional German football club based in the city of Magdeburg. Founded in 1965, the club is best known for winning the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1974, becoming the only East German side to claim a major European trophy.

They play their home matches at the MDCC-Arena, which holds just over 25,000 supporters.

Magdeburg have been wearing this third shirt during the 2025/2026 season whilst competing in the 2. Bundesliga. It has been a challenging year for Magdeburg who, as of April 30th 2026, are sat in the relegation playoffs with just 3 matches remaining. It's very tight at the bottom of the table with just 2 points separating 17th and 12th! Whatever happens, it has been a poor campaign for Magdeburg who finished in 5th in 2024/2025 season.

In domestic cup competition, Magdeburg featured in the DFB-Pokal, where they reached the early knockout rounds before being eliminated by a strong RB Leipzig side.

Throughout the season, attacking contributions have been dominated by Polish Forward Mateusz Żukowski and German Winger Barış Atik who have 20 and 16 combined goals and assists in the league.
