AC MILAN – THIRD SHIRT 2020/2021
AC Milan (Associazione Calcio Milan) is a professional football club based in Milan. One of Italy’s most historic sides, the Rossoneri have lifted the UEFA Champions League seven times — a total bettered only by Real Madrid.
The Rossoneri (The Red and Blacks) play their home matches at the iconic 75,923-seat San Siro, which they share with city rivals Inter Milan. The legendary arena is set to be demolished in 2031 as the current structure is not deemed fit for modern UEFA standards, forcing the need for a new venue.
Milan wore this bold and modern third shirt during the 2020/2021 campaign. The eye-catching design reflected a youthful, energetic side rebuilding under Stefano Pioli.
Domestically, Milan enjoyed an impressive Serie A campaign, finishing 2nd and securing qualification for the UEFA Champions League for the first time since 2013/2014.
In Europe, Milan progressed from a challenging group and reached the Round of 16, where they were narrowly eliminated by Manchester United, losing 2–1 on aggregate, with the crucial goal coming from Paul Pogba.
Standout performers included Zlatan Ibrahimović, Franck Kessié, and Theo Hernández, who were instrumental in driving Milan’s resurgence and return to the top level of European football.
