Al Ahli wore this long-sleeved home shirt in the 2016/2017 season under the management of ex- Spurs manager Christian Gross. The club finished the season in 2nd place behind champions Al-Hilal. They reached the Quarter-Final of the AFC Champions League before losing over two legs to Iranian club Persepolis.
