AEK ATHENS – HOME SHIRT 2007/2008

AEK, nicknamed Kitrinomavri (The Yellow-Blacks), are one of Greece’s big clubs, situated in the Athens suburb of Nea Filadelfeia.

The team finished the season in 2nd place in the Greek Super League, being pipped to the post by Olympiacos by two points, despite winning one more game.

In Europe AEK were defeated by two Spanish sides – Sevilla in the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League, and then by Getafe in the UEFA Cup round of 32.

Brazilian legend Rivaldo played for AEK in the 2007/08 season, scoring 15 times in his 43 appearances.
