AFC AJAX – HOME SHIRT 2015/2016

Ajax is one of Holland’s big clubs, in fact the most successful having won the Dutch Eredivisie 36 times and the KNVB Cup 20 times.  Ajax, named after the legendary Greek hero, play their matches at the Johan Cruyff Arena.

The club wore this home shirt in the 2015/2016 season where they were coached by Dutch legend Frank de Boer, who was infamously called "the worst manager in Premier League history" by Jose Mourinho! Despite that, Ajax didn't have a terrible season, finishing 2nd on 82 points, 2 points behind Champions PSV. In Europe Ajax were knocked out of the group stage in the Europa League. Molde topped the group, Fenerbache were in second and Celtic finished bottom, 4 points of Ajax - not a bad Europa League group!
