ANDERLECHT – HOME SHIRT 2006/2007 & 2007/2008

RSC Anderlecht are a Belgian team based in the Anderlecht district of the capital, Brussels.

The Purple and Whites (‘Paars-wit’ in Dutch; ‘Les Mauves et Blancs’ in French), wore this home shirt in two consecutive seasons from 2006 to 2008.

In the 2006/2007 season, Anderlecht took the Belgian title but failed to get out of the Group Stage of the Champions League.

In 2007/2008, Anderlecht finished 2nd in the Belgian First Division with Standard Liege champions. However, Anderlecht did win both domestic cups.

In Europe, the club lost to Fenerbahce in the Third Qualifying Round of the Champions League and as such dropped down into the UEFA Cup where they reached the Round of 16 before a heavy defeat by Bayern Munich.
