ANDERLECHT – GOALKEEPER SHIRT 2017/2018

RSC Anderlecht are a Belgian team based in the Anderlecht district of the capital, Brussels.

The Purple and Whites (‘Paars-wit’ in Dutch; ‘Les Mauves et Blancs’ in French) in 2017/18 were attempting to defend their Belgian league title.

Sadly, Anderlecht were only able to finish third, behind winners Club Brugge and Standard Liege. As such they failed to qualify for the Champions League the following season.

The Paars-wit did compete in the Champions League in this season but were unable to
get out of their difficult group (which included Bayern Munich, PSG and Celtic), ultimately finishing bottom. A variation of this shirt was worn in European matches.

Polish striker, Lukasz Teodorczyk, top scored for the side with 15 goals in all competitions.

This keeper shirt was worn by Matz Sels who signed for Nottingham Forest in 2024.
