ASCOLI CALCIO 1898 - HOME SHIRT 2008/2009 

Ascoli Calcio 1898 is an Italian football club based in Ascoli Piceno, Marche. They were formed in 1898, hence their name. They currently play in Serie C Group B.

Their stadium - Stadio Cino e Lillo Del Duca - had a maximum capacity of 20,550 when initially built in 1962, but now only hosts a maximum of 12,461 due to severe damage caused by earthquakes in 2016. The stadium's namesake is former owner Cino Del Duca who saved the club from bankruptcy in 1955.

This classic shirt was worn in 2008/09, which was their first season back in Serie B following relegation from Serie A. This was another disappointing season where Ascoli finished a lowly 16th and had a point deducted due to unpaid wages and other financial irregularities.
