CLUB ATLETICO GRAU – AWAY SHIRT 2023

Club Atlético Grau, commonly known as Atlético Grau, is a professional football club based in the north western Peruvian city of Piura. The club was named in honour of Peruvian naval hero Miguel Grau Seminario. The team is affectionately referred to as "Los Albos" due to their traditional white kit. 

Atlético Grau's home matches are held at the Estadio Miguel Grau, which has a capacity of 25,500 spectators. 

The club won the Copa Perú in 1972, securing promotion to the top tier of Peruvian football. More recently, the club clinched the inaugural Copa Bicentenario in 2019, defeating Sport Huancayo in the final. This victory earned them a spot in the 2020 Copa Sudamericana, marking their debut in international competition. 

In the 2024 season whilst wearing this white home shirt, Atlético Grau competed in Liga 1, Peru's premier football division. They finished the apertura (opening section of the season) in 12th place, but then slipped slightly down to 14th place in the clausura (closing section).

The club maintains a fierce rivalry with Alianza Atlético, with matches between the two teams known as the "Clásico Piurano."
