BAYER LEVERKUSEN  – HOME SHIRT 2022/2023

Bayer 04 Leverkusen were founded in 1904 by employees of the Bayer pharmaceutical company. They are based in the German City of Leverkusen in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Die Werkself (The Company 11) play home games at the Bay Arena.

The club have played in the Bundesliga since the 1979/80 season. Leverkusen won the Bundesliga under manager Xabi Alonso in 2023/2024, finishing the season as invincibles!

This home shirt was worn by the club in the 2022/2023 season where Leverkusen finished in 6th place.

In European competition, the club finished 3rd in their Champions League group (albeit ahead of Atletico Madrid!) and such dropped down to the Europa League where they reached the Semi-Finals before losing narrowly to Roma.
