BAYERN MUNICH – HOME SHIRT 2008/2009

European powerhouses Die Roten (The Reds) are based in Bavaria in Southern Germany. They are the most decorated club in Germany winning 11 consecutive Bundesliga titles from 2013-2024.

This classic home shirt was worn by Bayern in their 2008/09 campaign, where the club had a disappointing season, failing to win a single trophy. The highlight of their season was a record breaking 12-1 win on aggregate against Sporting CP in the round of 16 of the Champions League. Ultimately, this didn't mean much though as they then lost to subsequent winners Barcelona in the Quarter-finals 5-1 across the two legs.

The season didn't come without any shining lights as eventual treble winning manager for Bayern Jupp Heynckes came in as caretaker for his first stint of three at the club, replacing Jurgen Klinsmann for the final few games of the season to ensure UCL qualification.
