Besiktas 2013/2014 Home Shirt

BESIKTAS  – HOME SHIRT 2013/2014

Kara Kartallar (The Black Eagles) are based in the Besiktas suburb of Istanbul. They are one of Turkey’s biggest clubs and have never been relegated from the top division.

This home shirt was worn in the 2013/2014 season and the shirt commemorates the 110th anniversary of the club.

Besiktas finished 3rd in the Turkish Super Lig and as such qualified for the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League.

They were beaten by Bucaspor in the 4th round of the Turkish Cup in what was a shock
result.

Having beaten Tromso of Norway in the Europa League qualifying round, Besiktas were
kicked out of the competition by UEFA after match fixing allegations.

Portuguese striker, Hugo Almeida, was Besiktas’ top scorer in the 2013/14 season with
15 goals.
